Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale for Goods purchased from the Teenage Trust (Trading) Limited (hereafter referred to as "the company", “us”). Teenage Trust (Trading) Limited is the trading subsidiary company of Teenage Cancer Trust registered charity: 1062559 (England & Wales), SC039757 (Scotland). Teenage Trust (Trading) Limited passes all profits generated through its activities to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Merchandise 
Teenage Trust (Trading) Limited has made every effort to ensure that all product information held on this website is accurate. Some information, including images and specification, are derived from third party sources such as manufacturers. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible if this information is not completely accurate. 
 
Colours are representative and may not reflect exact shades. Colours are subject to change. The customer accepts that colour differences can occur in any product when it is being viewed and compared on a computer screen. The customer accepts that they will have no right to reject the product on the basis of minor colour differences. 
 
We reserve the right to change and remove any item from the catalogue at any time. 
 
Faulty merchandise 
If a fault is discovered in a finished product and this is not due to the way the product has been handled, stored, or displayed by the customer, a replacement product will be exchanged for the faulty product. Payment refunds will not be made (unless the transaction has been concluded over the Internet and the conditions noted below relating to the return of goods have been adhered to). 
 
Claims for damages or shortages must be submitted in writing or by phone to Teenage Trust (Trading) Limited within 10 working days of receipt of the goods (email notification is acceptable); otherwise we have the right to refuse refund or replacement of the goods. Please include the Order ID and date the order was placed. 
 
Pricing 
We maintain a competitive pricing policy; VAT will be charged at the rate applicable at the time of sale. 
 
Prices of goods stated on the website are inclusive of VAT and may be subject to changes without any liability on the part of Teenage Trust (Trading) Limited. In such a case we will make you aware of this as soon as reasonably practicable and a full refund will be given, if required. 
 
The total cost of your order is the price of the goods together with delivery charges. While we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. 
 
Title of all goods supplied shall rest with the company until payment has been received in full. 
 
Returns and exchanges 
Products sold via Teenage Trust (Trading) Limited online store can be returned within 14 working days of date of purchase. A refund will be provided in the same format as the payment made as long as the goods (which include all relevant packaging) are returned in the same condition as they were dispatched. The cost of shipment to return or exchange goods will be the responsibility of the customer. 
 
Delivery 
Any delivery period quoted by the company is provided as a guide for the customer. The company shall not be held responsible for any loss incurred by a customer due to delivery of the goods being out within the period quoted. 

Your order will usually be dispatched within 10 working days if all items are in stock. 
 
If you haven't received your order within the specified time or there is a problem with your order, please advise us at the earliest convenience on 0207 612 0370. Please have the Order ID and date the order was placed to hand. 
 
Delivery charges are charged at £3.99 for orders under £50 and at zero cost for orders totalling £50 or more. We will review these charges on a regular basis to keep these in line with delivery costTeenage Cancer Trust will not refund cost charged for returning items to us unless at our discretion this has been agreed. 

 
Change or cancel an order 
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations gives you the right to a ‘cooling off’ period, i.e., a right to cancel your order within 14 working days following the day of receipt of the goods and return them for a full refund. This applies to all our goods except DVDs, CDs, Software, Audio Tapes and Video Tapes where the item has been opened. It is your responsibility to give notice of your wish to cancel within this cancellation period by email, fax, letter, or telephone. The goods must be returned in mint, saleable condition at your expense and we would recommend for your own protection that you use a recorded delivery service. 
 
If you wish to change or cancel an order, please contact our Supporter Experience team on 0207 612 0370 within 14 days following the day of receipt of the goods. Please have the Order ID and date the order was placed when calling. 
 
Contract 
The purchase is not made until you have successfully completed the online payment order form and you have accepted these terms and conditions. Receipt of your order will be acknowledged in writing by email. 
 
English law governs any contract formed between the company and a customer. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with a contract shall be determined by English Courts. 
 
Refusal of Transaction 
We reserve the right at any time to withdraw any item from the online shop and to refuse to process a transaction for any reason, at any time and at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any refusal to enter into a transaction for any reason. 
 
In order to be eligible to purchase items on this website and to lawfully enter into a form of contracts on this website under English law you must: 

  • Provide your real name, phone number, payment details and other requested information. 

  • Stipulate a valid delivery address. 

  • Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. 

When you make an offer to buy an item on this website, you specifically authorise us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

When you order, we need to know your name, billing address, email address, telephone number, delivery address, credit or debit card number and expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders and enables us to contact you regarding the order. To fulfil your order, the chosen delivery address and telephone number will be given to our carriers and, if required by law, to other parties such as Customs and Excise. This will enable our carriers and merchandising fulfilment agents to successfully complete delivery of your order. 
 
Your credit or debit card number, expiry date and 3-digit security code are also required to allow us to process and fulfil your order. Card payment details are held within a secure third-party system and in accordance with the Card Payment Industry (PCI-DSS) Standards to help in the event of a problem with your order. 
 
We use Secure Trading to securely validate your payment after we receive your credit card details. Secure Trading check for fraudulent use and link to the banks to check for credit limits and notification of lost and stolen cards. 
 
We use this data to cross reference payments received with the order value for accounts reconciliation and also to enable us to refund you if you return a product to us.
